Rural outpatient clinic located several hundred miles west of Fairbanks, AK is seeking a permanent, full-time Behavioral Health Clinician. We are looking for candidates that are Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for 3 year commitment

Relocation assistance: $15,000

Behavioral Health Clinician Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, DOELicensed Clinical

Behavioral Health Clinician Job Summary:

• ACT stands for "Access to Collaborative Treatment"
• Collaborative care model involving primary care and mental health providers
• Addresses various mental and emotional issues (trauma, depression, anxiety)
• Utilizes trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered approach
• Employs evidence-based interventions (EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing)
• Educates clients about mental health concerns and encourages self-advocacy
• Offers screening, crisis intervention, short-term therapy, and referrals
• Program Manager oversees clinicians, attends meetings, fosters communication and collaboration within the clinic

Behavioral Health Clinician Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a human service related field including Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy or Social Work.
• Completion of an accredited Master level degree program. Evidence of one year of employment providing direct clinical care to individuals, families and groups with demonstrated proficiency in clinical/therapeutic activities including assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group counseling, and clinical documentation.
• License, Certifications, Registration: LMFT, LPC, LBHP or LCSW preferred. Must be working toward Alaska licensure or be able to obtain Alaska license within six months* of hire.
